I first saw this via Naomi’s Blog a while ago. I’m finding that i’m increasingly picking and choosing bits and pieces of style from all eras in incorporate into my wardrobe, but i’ve been particularly drawn toward 1930s and 40s fashions of late. Tea dresses, land girls, red lips, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and the Silver Screen… Mmmm!
(Psst, you might just see this inspiration show up in my brand new range, oh yes!)
A couple of free LFW tickets was more than enough persuasion for my sister and I to take a little trip to London. The day started out gloriously sunny – so sunny that I was actually wearing sunglasses as we took a little stroll down the Embankment to Somerset House, then onto the Strand and Covent Garden. After a lovely lunch at Wahaca the clouds came over and the rain came down. In this situation the only option is to head for Liberty – and that we did!

A new sister to Anthropologie is here! Meet BHLDN, a treasure trove of wedding essentials for the discerning bride. Anthropologie’s ranges are always so well considered and interesting, and on a quick browse of the new BHLDN site, it would seem that the impeccable style and taste has carried through into wedding jewellery, bridesmaids dresses, shoes and incredible hair accessories… Not to mention the fabulous bridal gowns!

I just had to share this great screen print from Rob Ryan
Thankfully I didn’t see this in the flesh, and i’m safely away from my credit card – it would look great in my bathroom.
