I’ve been meaning to try these out for a while, so it was nice to find an excuse to do a bit of baking. My family arrived from America on Saturday morning, and what better way to greet jetlagged loved ones than with some super-sweet baked goods? I’m really pleased with the way the flags turned out. I think they’d be great table decorations for parties or weddings too – they’d look equally cute stood in sand or as part of a floral decoration.
Following last years successful collaboration, Liberty have announced the range of Nike styles with a Liberty flavour for this summer. The Blazer Mid and Low, Dunk Hi Skinny and Air Force 1 Low will be available exclusively from Liberty from April 1st. Now, generally speaking i’m not a Nike girl, but with the Liberty Print injection I might find it hard to resist these. (Especially the blue Tatum Hi-tops… Swoon!)

The DSLR has arrived! After much deliberation and consulting anyone who would stand still for long enough to hear me out on the Nikon vs Canon debate, I finally settled on the Nikon D3100. It’s been a long while since i’ve spent any quality time with an SLR, and this seemed to be a great way to ease myself back into photography without stressing about having £1000 hanging around my neck in the process. I’m a clutz, the chances of me falling and smashing the prized technology to pieces are pretty high.
I had to make a new strap pronto though – there was nothing wrong with the Nikon black and yellow number of course, but given the opportunity to add a print… Well, what was I supposed to do?
